Orange Eyeshadow Cut Crease Look

Hi everyone,

Hope you all liked my previous looks, today; I am going to share my cut crease look. This is a bit of a severe and bold look but there could be modifications with it. If you like bold looks, you can keep it “as is” as shown in the pictures or you can lighten the intensity of the crease line using a medium round smudge brush.

Here is a list of products I used to create this look:

  • ELF Studio Eye Primer
  •  Maybelline Eyestudio Eye shadow Quad in Sunset Seduction No 100
  • BH Cosmetics 120 Color Palette 5th Edition
  • Chambor Stay –On Waterproof Eyeliner in 301 Forever Black
  • Lancôme Defincils High Definition Mascara
  • ELF Studio Gel Eyeliner
  • And a lot of PASSION

To achieve the look, start with a medium toned shadow in the Maybelline palette and apply it on the eyelid from the crease line following the natural crease of your eyes. Then create a sharp crease using a precision brush and the darkest shade of the palette used a burnt orange eye shadow from the Maybelline Palette to fill in the entire eyelid. Now back on the crease, make a single line of the deepest color in the palette to create intensity, I also used a black eye shadow from my BH cosmetics palette to top up my crease and give depth.”

Tip: If you have hooded eyelids, keep your eyes open when applying the crease shade. It helps you create the illusion of a crease.

Now it’s time to blend. The key to achieving a professional look is blending the line upward toward your eyebrow–blending and diffusing, but maintaining the weight of the line in the crease.

Highlight just under the brow bone using the lightest shade and line both the upper and lower lash line with the dark crease shadow. For more intensity, I like to dampen the brush slightly. Do not forget to fill in the waterline with your favorite eyeliner pencil (I used my Chambor waterproof eyeliner). Now highlight the brow bone and the inner corner of the eye with lightest eye shadow in the palette. Finish with winged eyeliner and a few generous coats of mascara. I used my Lancôme Defincils mascara.

This looks great – I can’t believe you did almost all of it with drugstore makeup! You’re obviously very talented at applying it. You look beautiful in your profile picture by the way – amazing hair xx

Yes fingers crossed! Certain things are so much cheaper in the US, Smashbox is virtually drugstore prices over there but it’s sold as a premium brand in the UK. Compliments are all deserved! 🙂 xx
